Some choice pics from Bug

of his training host brothers. This photo is so last year (early December), but it's a good one.

Picnic with Pastor Willie and his wonderful family. His sister (pictured) and her family inherited the really nice tents in the background from a missionary and his wife who used to live in our community.

Tired puppy after swimming for the first time! She was so afraid of the water, but Peter made a move like he was going to drown me, so she dove in and swam to my rescue! At only 3 months old. <3

Walking back from our picnic, which consisted of two meals, a nap, lots of storying on and swimming about an hour and a half walk from our village. Beautiful.

My auntie Yam and I. She was showing us our village's watersource. There is a pipe at the top of that waterfall that slowly fills a large tank, which then pipes it all over the village.

Brave pup who carefully climbed over the water without getting her little feet wet. The boards you see are for laundry. You can see by the gazillion laundry wrappers (which I strategically tried not to capture in the picture) that are littered all over the beautiful place.

And I had to add this one again. Have you seen the first letter posted in the Letters from Vanuatu section? It has my description of this place, where we spend many moments just breathing. So wonderful. Behind the camera, in this picture, is the ocean. If you look closely, you'll see the bench on the nabanga (banyon) tree.
